Spirit Movers

The Spirit Movers are a Senior Social Group that meets monthly nine months out of the year with varied and relaxed agendas that often include a guest speaker(s) and local trip(s). Members must be 50 years or over to join. Spirit Movers is all about people interested in sharing with others. We do not require a lot of time, but a lot of smiles and storytelling fit into the scheme of things.
Dues
Annual dues are $5.00 per person. Additional income is raised through the annual Super Bowl Bake Sale, organized casino trips, and the monthly 50/50 jackpot drawing.
Activities

Local trips such as casinos, theaters, T-Bones games, golf, and bowling

Monthly gatherings held at a local Bar & Grill for a relaxed social outing and guest speakers
Parish Involvement and Charity
- Manages the annual Fun Fair "cakewalk," which benefits the Parish.
- Provides support and help to the annual Parish "Garage Sale."
- Purchases and maintains missal covers for the church.
- Spirit Movers make an annual donation to the Parish School.
- Spirit Movers make an annual donation to Catholic Charities.
Prayer
First Friday of Every Month: Parishioners of ALL ages are invited to join us for a Holy Hour of Adoration dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for fostering vocations to the Priestly and Consecrated Life. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM in the Church, concluding with Benediction.
